MMSU celebrates 44th Foundation Anniversary

With the theme, MMSU @ 44: ACHIEVEing More, the Mariano Marcos State University celebrates its 44th Foundation Anniversary this January 6 to February 3, 2022.
Join us as we celebrate another monthlong celebration! The University will be broadcasting all activities via FB Live, hence, set us as your favorite for the latest update on MMSU Activities!
Our celebration commenced with the Thanksgiving Service this January 6, at the Teatro Ilocandia, followed by Opening of the Garden Show and Trade Fair at the College of Law Grounds. On January 20, the Anniversary Convocation that will highlight the State of the University Address (SOUA) of President Shirley Agrupis will be held at the Teatro Ilocandia. The Stakeholders’ Forum is also set in the same venue this January 24.
On January 25, the Alumni Day Celebration highlighting the Turnover of the Alumni Villa will be celebrated in the CASAT Campus in Currimao. In the early evening of the same day, a Dinner for a Cause will be held in the FEM Centennial Park.
The virtual Professional Journey Across Cultures will be held via Zoom and Facebook Live in the morning of January 26. The afternoon will be beefed with the Academic Journey Across Cultures.
The 27th of the month will be a fun-filled day for the whole University with the Watwat 5.0 at the MMSU Sports Complex.
The Retiree’s Day is scheduled this January 28 at the MMSU Function Hall to celebrate the wisdom of the predecessors of the University. In the afternoon, the PRAISE Awards will be celebrated at the Teatro Ilocandia.
January 31 will be packed for the Students’ Day at the Teatro Ilocandia and the Virtual Parambak iti Tangatang in the Center for Flexible Learning in the afternoon.
And on February 3, the most-awaited School-on-the-Air (SOA) Graduation Ceremony will be held at the Teatro Ilocandia.
Due to the limits on face-to-face celebrations in observance of IATF protocols, these activities will be shared to the general public through the official page of the University, Mariano Marcos State University. For visitors of the Garden Show and Trade Fair, vaccination cards are required for entry.
