To enhance the implementation of the Techno Gabay Program in Region 1, more Farmers Information and Technology Services (FITS) Centers are being enhanced by the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 1 (ATI-RTC 1) through the provision of equipment and additional supplies and materials to improve their services.

With this, more LGUs which have earlier established their FITS Centers are becoming interested to enhanced their services. 

MMSU through its Extension Directorate office serves as one of the Partner-Member Agencies (PMA) of ATI-RTC 1 and the Ilocos Agriculture, Aquatic Resources Research and Development Consortium (ILAARRDEC) in the implementation of the Techno Gabay Program in the Ilocos Region.

FITS Center is one of the component programs of the Techno Gabay Program. Other components include the Information, Education, and Communication Materials/Strategies, Magsasaka Siyentista (MS), and Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

LGUs with FITS centers may contact MMSU for additional assistance.
