CIT leads Automotive Technology trainings

Watch us via FB Live tomorrow, December 16, for the Skills Trainings on Automotive Servicing and Small Engine Repair through our experts form the Bachelor of Automotive Technology Department of the College of Industrial Technology.

This training will be a three-day training, with virtual lectures from December 16-17, and a hands-on activity on December 18. We encourage everyone to participate in this online training, and get the most learning while being at home.

This training is part of the CIT Capability Enhancement Program through Online Skills Training led by the College of Industrial Technology in collaboration with the Extension Directorate, the MMSU Information and Technology Center, The Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Norte LGUs, the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), the Department of Agriculture (DA), the Department of Education (DepEd), the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), other government agencies concerned with research and development, and non-government organizations.

The program also indulges the different departments of the colleges, to with the Food Technology Department on 1) Food Safety and Sanitation Practices, 2) Baking/Cake Decoration, 3) Bartending, 4) Meat/Fish Processing, 5) Fruits/Vegetable Processing, and 6) Costs and Return Analysis; another set of topics by the Automotive Technology that includes 1) Shop Safety and Maintenance, and 2) Auto Air-con Maintenance and Servicing; the Electrical Technology on Electrical Wiring and Installation; the Electronics Technology on Consumer Products servicing and Maintenance; the Garmets Technology on Sports Wear and Dress-making (Ladies Wear); the Drafting Technology on Silk Screen Preparation and T-shirt Printing; and the Computer Technology on 1) Online Google Tools, 2) Learning Management Systems (Google Classroom, Schoology), 3) Enhancing Skills in the Use of Spreadsheet, and 4) Using  Broadcasting Software for online delivery/live webinars (OBS).

Students, teachers, housewives, workforces, entrepreneurs, out-of-school youth (OSYs), and community members are all indulged in this activity. With the training to be broadcasted online through Facebook Live, other interested FB users may join the learning session without the hassle of moving to training venues.
